Read MoreWe finally got away for some fresh air and a dose of nature.. Clyde and I took our new RV (which we got RIGHT before the stay at home was issued!) and headed to Highlands Hammock State Park. We spent a week submerged in nature. It felt so very good.

Read MoreWe had the joy of spending the day out on the Triangle Ranch photographing. The Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast worked to save the ranch from future developments along the Myakka River. Today 1,142 acres are protected.
Read MoreThis museum exhibit represents over twenty years of photography Clyde has accomplished in the Myakka River basin. He has enjoyed Myakka as much as he’s enjoyed photographing the Everglades and wanted to share the beauty of the area with others, thus the exhibit.
Read MoreWe always enjoy the swamp walks through Fakahatchee Strand. On this occasion we were out to find the Guzmaina Cathedral, an area of the swamp filled with the bromeliads. The darkroom work-up images will give you an idea of what Clyde does in the darkroom with this particular negative.

Read MoreClyde’s great, great, great Uncle Ferdinand Ignatius Xavier Rugell came to the ‘ridge’ of Florida to study the flora in 1800’s. We had wanted to photograph the area for a long time for the beauty of the area, as well as seeing if we could find a plant that he had named. When the opportunity presented itself, we happily headed to Archbold Biological station to photograph the ‘ridge’.
